My story

My name is Chris Treadwell. I started this business in 2006, which was every bit as frightening as it sounds, and I have never once regretted it. My husband has backed the whole thing from the first day, and getting to do this for a living is still something I do not take for granted.

In October 2015 I passed the two-part testing process and became the first Certified Professional Photographer in El Paso, through the Professional Photographers of America. I am a member in good standing of both the PPA and the Better Business Bureau, and I still go to conferences every year, because a photographer who stops learning starts repeating herself.

Opening my own studio was a lifelong goal. I spent seven years at the east side location before moving somewhere bigger. Studio session or on location, in bright sun or in the dark, my job is to know how to light you and to make the hour enjoyable enough that it shows in the pictures.
